The growth of computing, specifically mobile computing, is one of the defining features of the past 20 years, not just on the consumer electronics world, but on society as a whole. How did we survive without them? While networks, screens, and processing power have advanced at incredible speeds, battery power has been left behind and is inhibiting industry progress, especially in the wearable category. Solutions are beginning to appear on the horizon in the shape of both chargers and new battery technology. This report reviews these solutions.
